One of the ways Republicans get voters to vote for them is to keep people down financially and socially and then blame it on straw men such as gays, lesbians, transgenders, immigrants, non-white people and of course, Democrats. They also expose them to “the big lie” day after day in corporate, right wing media.

As a result these duped voters along with the super-rich elect people who do not have the interest of the little guy at heart, but instead, shifting more of the nation’s wealth to those who are all ready wealthy.

These misinformed, stressed out citizens get so upset that they want to throw a monkey wrench into the machinery of the American government. And this is what they did.

I call this president the Orange Monkeywrench. He magnifies his power by selecting underling monkeywrenches to help take down the government as we have known it for decades.

Here are some of the bad actions of Trump in his first two months:

  1. Issued an executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship for children born in the US to non-citizen parents2.
  2. Signed executive orders dismantling diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs in the federal government and private sector12.
  3. Repealed a 1965 regulation prohibiting employment discrimination by government contractors1.
  4. Implemented strict immigration control measures, including expanded detention facilities and increased authority for local law enforcement1.
  5. Made sweeping cuts to the federal workforce through buyouts and mass firings1.
  6. Initiated steps to eliminate the Department of Education1.
  7. Targeted funding for K-12 schools perceived to “indoctrinate” students with “gender ideology and discriminatory equity ideology”1.
  8. Terminated hundreds of NOAA employees and canceled leases at weather forecasting centers1.
  9. Withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement and rolled back climate change policies1.
  10. Declared a “national energy emergency” to promote increased oil and gas production while opposing renewable energy initiatives1.
  11. Reversed Biden-era policies that weakened the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits federal funding for abortion services1.
  12. Reinstated the “Mexico City Policy” restricting federal funds to organizations that perform or promote abortion1.
  13. Withdrew the U.S. from the World Health Organization1.
  14. Issued an executive order undermining the 14th Amendment to end birthright citizenship2.
  15. Initiated a process to designate certain international cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations3.
  16. Launched a “10-to-1” deregulation initiative, requiring agencies to identify 10 existing rules or regulations to repeal for every new one issued3.
  17. Signed an order to investigate and potentially prosecute perceived “weaponization” of federal agencies by the previous administration4.
  18. Took steps to restrict gender-affirming care and force recognition of only two sexes (male and female)5.
  19. Appointed unqualified people to cabinet posts such as Hegseth, a FOX newscaster with drinking problems to Defense, Kennedy, a vaccine denier, to Health and Human Services, “Dr. Oz” a supplement huckster and Medicare Advantage (insurance company run), as head of Medicare and others.
  20. Put Elon Musk in charge of arbitrary firing of federal workers in various federal agencies.

These actions align with many of the proposals outlined in Project 2025, despite Trump’s public distancing from the initiative1.
